Senior CFD Engineer to NKT

Your Responsibilities

  • Both lead and participate various type of consulting and R&D projects that requires advance CFD competence.
  • Contribute to the development of advance CFD competence and capacity in NKT
  • Develop computational methods for MV and HV power product applications to solve business needs
  • Ensure high quality results to fulfill customer’s needs

Your Background:

  • PhD’s degree or master’s degree with 3 years working experience in fluid mechanical engineering
  • Excellent skills and extensive experiences with commercial numerical software, i.e. ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English and Swedish, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Good business acumen
  • Good experiences in power, heavily electrical or automation industry is a plus
